纽约学界"同舟共济，并肩作战"迎奥运漂流，射击友谊赛

2008 年的上半年，中国经历了前所未有的灾难； 骤至的四川大地震，撼动了神州大地 , 也牵动了亿万人的心。在国家同胞有难之时，海内外 13 亿华夏儿女 团结一致，无私奉献，谱写了一曲又一曲爱的乐章， 体现了中华民族" 同舟共济，众志成城"决心和斗志。

灾难已经过去，盛事即将来临。 2008 年的下半年， 中国将经历了前所未有的机遇和挑战；北京奥运即将举办， 她承载着华夏儿女的期盼，燃烧着炎黄子孙的激情。 为了展示中华民族震不垮，压不到的决心和越战越勇的斗志， 同时为强健体魄，提高凝聚力，再一次为奥运呐喊加油， 在奥运倒计时 20 天之时， China Relief 将于 7 月 19 日， 7 月 20 日两天举办 迎奥运漂流， 射击友谊赛 。

朋友们，让我们在运动中增强我们的体魄，磨练我们的意志， 在团结合作中增进我们的了解和友谊； 用我们的实际行动和激情来和祖国呼应："中国加油！奥运加油！"

Olympic Games is coming! Too far away from Beijing to feel the heat? Then, come and join our rafting and skirmish activities in Pennsylvania this upcoming weekend (July 19 th and 20 th ).

That's right! Paintball! Rafting! Camping! We got them all!

On the first day you're going to enjoy the teamwork with friends and strangers, the award winning paintball fields, and the joy of victory (50% chance LOL). On the second day, we are going to experience a fun, thrilling, and pristine rafting trip. While paddling over 17 rapids you'll scream, laugh, swim, and have an excellent day.

Transportation

We suggest driving. If you don't have a car, please contact us and we will try our best effort to find you a carpool.

Special Attention:.

1. Camping fee include campsite rental on Friday night. If you are interested in departure on Friday, feel free to camp in the campsite.

INFORMATION NEEDED

Please kindly provide the following information by Thursday night for us to facilitate our weekend activities. Information should be sent to chinarelief@gmail.com .

1. If you have registered, please make sure you've provided your cell phone number for weekend contact. If you have a group, please provide at least one person for us to contact with.
2. Carpool. Let's make this trip environmental friendly! Greener! Cheaper! Some of our participants do not have a car to get to the activity site. If you have additional space in your vehicle, please let us know your location so we can coordinate carpool. For a 4-person family car, we suggest a shared fee of $20 to cover the gas and toll fee, paid to the driver. For people who needs a pick-up, please let us know your location and cell phone number immediately if you haven't do so.
3. Our campground is accessible from Friday night. If you do plan to camp on Friday, please let us know your group size and arrival time to arrange meet-up.
4. BBQ. Please indicate your preference to attend our tentative BBQ event in the campground on Saturday afternoon/night. The estimate expense is $10/person.
5. Tent. If you are attending our camping activity, do you have space in your tent to share with our other participants? From our last year's experience, sharing a tent is a lot more fun than you would think.
